I only have a boss distortion but my friend has a jim dunlop wah. NOt the biggest fan of it. He has a delay pedal which great fun to much around with and a pedal that makes teh sound in my happiness by powder finger but that is teh only thing it is good for. I havent used many more pedals i wish i had

Ive tried a Vox reissue wah and a Cry Baby wah and i thought the Vox left the Cry Baby for dead. I reckon it sounded heaps better...but we all have our own preferences!...

Hehe, i have a cheap little Zoom 505 2, and it does the job for me. I would like a better pedal, but i need a bit of money first. I seen the Zoom's 606, which has a built in xpression pedal thingy, which is ok. Maybe i'll get one eventually, or fork out the big bucks and get something expesive.

Hey All I just got a Zoom 707 2 and Iam loving it. Iam not the greatest player in the word but I find the playing curve is going through the roof ;D It has a small drum machine in it and to play with this I have discovered how much I have been speeding through songs.

Does anyone know how to get a good wah sound on a Zoom 4040 pedal? I've tried a few different settings but the best I can get it to sound can be described as "Total Crap". All the other FX I require in the unit are great.

Thanx Heme. Lotsa good patch settings but unfortunately none that help me with the wah...I'll just keep rooting around with it.

save ya money, then kick/throw/punch/destroy all the zoom pedals in the world. Get serious and go for BOSS fx pedals like a Gt-6 or the likes. Zoom suck (hey i did play with one for a long time and i know what I'm sayin)!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a Marshall Jackhammer i just couldn't live without, it sounds bloody incredible for both lead and rythem work, (i also scored it at a sale for $90 which adds to its greatness.) i also have a dunlop crybaby, and a recently bought boss superchorus which i'm very happy with i highly recomend all these pedals

hi i've got a Jackhammer too. i brought it when i only had a practise amp and loved it. but now i got a proper marshall. i still use the jackhammer but its not quite as good as the amps disortion. i lot of varity in tone but sometimes i have 'bad tone days' where i can't get good tone out of it. its got a lot of WOW factor from other people but i would look at other brands as well like boss ds1, big muff, ibanez etc. and before you buy it demo it for a while tweeken the knobs and be very happy before you buy it. don't pay the recomeded price for it ether coz i've seen them for sub $130 on the net eg www.guitarworld.com and while i'm here i'd like to say that multifx suck! my friend has got like the best boss one ever made and it still doesn't have the tone or the ajustability of a few stomboxes. i would rather have a few good stompies than it even though its worth like five grand. and the zoom ones i've tried make the guitar sound like a shithouse keybroard.

an interesting observation in your last stanza...... I got a Boss Ds-1...and enjoy it.........but I do like the idea of a boss Gt 6.....in gold........I have heard them on stage...and to my untrained ear, sounds good.....but the purists might disagree.
