Not a pedal as such but my all time favourite toy is a Korg Pandora's Box 3.
Excellent little go anywhere multiFX/Phrase Trainer/Backing Trax in a unit about the size of a packet of smokes.

well i guess the thing i've got against multifx is that if you use one the stuff everything else up. like you can't use distortion on your amp or other pedals. on all the ones i've used they have been great for 'far out' effects with weird modulations etc. but for just plain nice tone they can't hack it. all the amp simlulations have one sound that u can hardly adjust properly. My idear of the perfect multifx would be some standed effects like reverb, flang, delay etc. on one board with each its own knobs and switch. the boss have nearly got the idear with the new me-50. admiterly i haven't used a gt-6 and was talking about an older boss which looks nearly like the m-33 one. and the new bosses might be better but still its alot of money for something that you shouldn't use to much. because as we all know too much effects is very wanky. each to his own though!

Yep, got a GT-3 as well, and I gotta agree with fender1946. takes a bit of messing about before you get the right sounds. One thing to remember about multi-fx is that no matter how many sound patches they have, when the novelty wears off after the initial experimentation you will more than likely only have about 4 or 5 that you end up using. I've seen a few on e-bay go for around $450-$500 and they always sell. I've had someone offer to buy it from me who claims you can download sounds from the net for them Does anyone in this forum know anything about that? Freezex61

im not trying i just woke up
i own a boss blues driver and a marshall bluesbreaker, both of which im led to belive are overdrive pedals. as i like playing (at risk of sounding pretentious) alt county rock. these two suit my style perfectly. ive had no problem with these two pedals or any of my other boss pedals (phaser and Tremolo) and they do strike me as being very well made. you just have to go out and find what best suits youre sound style and what fits your budget best.

I've got a boss ds 1 distortion .....it's a good pedal, in fact the best distortion pedal I ever had.....come to think of it.....the only pedal I've ever had......you can pick them up in excellent condition at pawn shops and such.....for $100 or less.I go mine on ebay.....for about $120. inc gst.....and post.
But go to harmony central if you want reviews on any specific pedal [http://www.harmony-central.com/]
