Well, I own a behringer V-AMP, and it's pretty cool. all the effects built in, and a heap of different amps in one. its got all the gadgets and bits and pieces known to mankind, and i can even connect it up the the behringer website and download other people's presets and sounds straight into mine. it's a 100w, and it does the job. great studio amp.
still.... i love the good old marshall JCM 800 sound... aaah. can't go past it.
what do you's all reckon? does anyone else out there own a behringer?

I did work experience at a music shop, and the owner told me that basically every Behringer product they sold was sent back for repairs, e.g. the Blue Devil amp that was there, not even a year old and buggered (it did look a little knocked around though...) The owner of another music shop also said Behringers are pretty dodgy, so I've steered clear of them.

hmmmm. very intersting. i've had mine for probably 5 or 6 months now, and there seems to be no problems... but then again, it's only been cranked up once, for about half an hour. all the other times it's played in my room down pretty low. i hope it doesnt get any problems... but what year were those ones you were talking about made in? were they older models? i dont even know what year mine is, but i guess it dont even matter... oh well we'll see. thanks for the heads up, though p.s... oh and by the way, just out of curiosity, do you happen to know what was wrong with the stuffed ones?

I had a student who had a lot of trouble with a behringer bass amp. He sent 3 back before he told them to stick it where the sun dont shine and he got his money back. I own a 50 watt all tube randall RM50. The BEST amp i have ever owned. www.stevesmusiccenter.com/RandallRM50.html

I think behringer is pretty good. They give a cheap price and good quality product. I have a power mixer for my band studio and never got a problem Cheers

Excellent value I'd say - I use a Bass V-amp for acoustic recording and I get great sounds for very little $.
Owned mine for about 18 months now and never had a problem - if it blew up tomorrow I'd get another.
