I sure like trying out new tunings, but it can be a real pain, can't it. I mean, having to retune your guitar everytime you want to play different songs.

Does anyone have a guitar that they just leave in their favourite tuning, and have another with standard tuning?

I used to love to play Tea Party stuff, and that was the tuning i used - now i've written a fair few songs in that tuning so i just leave that guitar in that tuning.

Well if I had room to have more than one guitar where I live (shoebox uni accomodation) I'd give it more of a go. Just not really feasible at the mo

Ok. I'm 'fessing up, here. I still live at Jane Franklin Hall, and I've known Mick for the last two years. I got him to sign up. He thought it would be funny if we pretended that we didn't know each other, for some reason. Sorry for stringing everyone along. Mick does actually play guitar, he just hasn't played much in the past few years. Maybe we can help him get back into it? ;D
