Hi there folks, thought id chuck another bg day out review on here just to make everyone who didnt go cry!
First off frenzal, cool as, playing a hit from every year they've been together, lotsa of fun, but extremely f**king hot
Then onto the stage next to them for the D4, awesome rock from NZ, anyone who hasnt heard them definately check it out. As eskimo joe bored the crap out of us all we waited for the Hives! Best band all day....so cool, so tight, so awesome...all hail the hives. After that i went and got a beer. Next stop was the spazzys/ grinspoon, they were both ok, not awesome but not crap..so yeha....then onto Le tigre! Now theres a whole lot of cool. Lesbian Feminists from new york who write kick ass songs and belt em out live. Really worth checking out. Then onto the streets....been looking forward to this all day, and they delivered. Thankyou mike Skinner...although the drunk bogan dick next to me who kept yelling mikey we love you kind got on my nerves...until someone hit him in the head with a drink bottle. Ok, thought id check butterfingers out beeing local boys and all, and they totally rocked, seen them a few times at the zoo and this was their best performance ever i feel. Go butterfingers! Powderfinger were great to chill out to as we rested up for beasty boys, and we needed that rest,as soon as they hit the stage the whole place just exploded into one huge party. As the grandma next to me sang along to Sabotage the diversity of the big day out really hit me
Thankyou big day out....see you in 2006
