Funny , Mines the same guitar, but in cherry redwood, with gold inlay and gold hardware. The good news is i bought it 2 years ago in New Jersey at the Guitar Factory on US 22, they set the action up for me, and i've never been happier, And the sound... Ah Garry Moore eat your heart out.

Either a custom Les Paul or a Standard SG (which isn't that expensive in comparison to many other gibsons).

It's good how that $100 000 Martin comes in a left handed version for no extra charge! How thoughtful of them! ;D

I'd love a "Flying V Gibson" a la Jimi Hendirx
Acoustically I like the custom made small bodied 12 string guitars diesel uses made by Piers Crocker in Sydney - very nice full sound

I've played a Gibson flying V, my ex-bass player has one. Very nice, though I didn't get to enjoy it fully because the strings were really old and dodgy. And I've changed my mind, I want this:

Petox - to quote that renowed philosopher from the Simpsons - Otto -
"Whoah little dude!!!!"
Can you imagine the case that sucker has to go into? (And the one for the guitar would be pretty crazy too!!!)
BTW big fella - how exactly do you get pics up on this board? Would be good to see a few more!

Dogil - I'm not real sure how to get pictures up, i think you put in <img>URL of picture< /img> (without the space before the /img). I just saved the pic onto my computer, loaded it onto my photobucket account and then got the <img> tag thingy from there.
I also found another impossible guitar at school, even crazier than that one up there, but when I got home I couldn't find it.

OK, I'm up for a tussle with technology! Will try and get a pic of my dream guitar in here - my G&L Tribute Legacy. Was looking for a genuine Strat, but there are so many (US, Jap, Mexican - and all with the good/bad stories depending on manufacture date etc) that I just lost the plot. Had seen the G&L's in the store, but not worried about them much, then had a lend of an S500 Jap G&L (again with the whole country of manufacture and year of manufacture etc : Finished up whacking away on the Tribute Legacy, which is the upmodel from the S500 - just fell in love first play. Fitted me well, good weight, perfect action for my style etc etc, and I am a huge, huge fan of timber finishes. Great range of sounds, has the humbucker and coil tap with 5 way switch, so multi-sound possibilities. Bought a brilliant pedal setup through Ebay (see G.A.S. Syndrome) and now who's a happy boy ;D I guess my DREAM dream guitar would be Eric Clapton's own strat - Blackie . Not a copy, the actual guitar, but I don't like my chances OK - I give up adding the photo but here is a link to a pic. Mine has a dual humbucker at the bridge pickup and a coil tap switch, which these photo's do not show. www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/GearDetails.aspx?Item=786379
