here are a few ways ive found to make some weird sounds.
1. set ur octave pedal, whateve ru might have, up 1 octave and set the delay to about 1 second, then, mute the top strings and scrape u pick sideways/verticle on them, and move down the strings. it gives a sort of waterfall effect. you can only really do it if the sides of ur pick are scabbed up a little and sorta serrated
2. use the head of a microphone and rub it on the strings. mute the strings with ur left hand. sounds good if you have a jet flanger or phaser on
3. mute the strings up above the pickups. using some effect with this would probably make it sound good
4 push the bottom string (its the only one loose enough) down onto the magnet on a pickup. use just one finger, and move ur finger to different places on the string to get different sounds. its probably not good for the guitar tho

Place any electrical appliance near the pickups and turn it on! That makes pretty wierd noises! Even if you put your watch near the pick ups you can hear it tick through the amp!

Point a remote control at the pickups and push some buttons.
