Hooray hooray!! I've started singing with a band at last..(been jamming for about 3 wks) Would have to say its going pretty good so far, only early days though, hopefully playing some gigs by chrissy!! The topic of coming up with a cool name for the band is currently unresolved The best i've come up with so far is MOJO.. ? Argh, i dunno!? What do you guys reckon, any suggestions from all your brilliant minds would be greatly appreciated ;D (the catchiest name could even win themselves a free set of...you guessed it....steak knives!!!!!) I know, i know...this offer is too good to be true!!

Cool ;D What type of music are you doing, then we can have a shot at some names - no use calling yourselves The Pulsating Receptacles Of Death if you are doing Kylie covers

I like Eskie Mojo, but it's too much like Eskimo Joe. I actually ripped it off them

Covers at the moment, with a few originals workin on lyrics. Mainly alternative stuff, bit of everything that you might want to hear havin a night out with mates! Grinspoon, Screaming Jets, Chilli Peppers, Live, Metallica, Powderfinger, AC/DC, Hunters & Collectors, Hoodoo Gurus, Jet etc., Hopefully stuff that people want to get on the dance floor and cut loose to some upbeat tunes ;D If all goes to plan that is!!?

Our old singer has just decided to concentrate on playing bass, he is a great bass player and a great singer. Unfortunately he had to play some pretty lame bass lines so that he could belt out vocals. So we have a new singer and she is a she ;D. That being explained the old band name had to go so "The drunk munkey's" are no more. Our drummer in all his wisdom came up with "80% sausage" ;D we loved it but our singers mum not so (she is only 16). We have now settled on "KransKy". hope that story somehow helps. Maitland thats just down the road from me

It's harder to find a great singer than a great bass player - you shoulda just let him sing and get someone else on bass... but good luck with the new set up anyway!

only if you have five members and 1 is not a guy, or whatever other numbers work out to the right percentage
