Did a Tsunami fundraising gig a few weeks ago, and one of the band members shot off for a holiday the next day. I thought my bag with my cords (power and guitar) plus powerboards, double adaptors, tuner, spare batteries, a few loose tools etc had accidentaly been put in her car as it wasn't with my stack of stuff when we packed up. Checked with her when she got back - Nope, she didn't have it. Have checked with other bands and the venue, but not there. I didn't think another muso would rip it off anyway, but it hadn't been picked up by mistake. It seems I have been ripped off by some punk kids that were hanging around the stage door (as you can imagine it was a bit hectic out back), and I am now out to the tune of a couple of hundred to replace it all. Luckily no instruments or anything got hooked, but man am I ever ANGRY!!! Why do people do that sort of thing??? AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah, thanks folks, I feel better after that little rave. Moral of the story - NEVER LET YOUR STUFF OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!!!!

It's such a shame that in the world we live in you can't trust anyone anymore. Tough luck mate

Scabby little buggers. We're lucky at our gigs that we have a good security guy, so the only people out back are band members and other trusted friends, so we can leave stuff everywhere (as long as we remember where, I guess)
